[Case Study] Radar Microwave Level Meter for Mobile Trippers

Monitor multiple bunker levels from a mobile tripper! Achieve stable measurements unaffected by dust and steam!

We would like to introduce a case where the radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H7S' handled by Matsushima Majortech was implemented in a mobile tripper. In the case of laser or ultrasonic types, there was a risk of erroneous measurements due to reflections from dust and steam, and the influence of dust and steam could cause sound waves to attenuate, leading to unstable measurements. By introducing this microwave product, which has the property of being able to penetrate without reflections (noise) from dust and steam, we were able to monitor multiple bunker levels from the mobile tripper. [Case Study] ■ Issues - Risk of erroneous measurements due to reflections from dust and steam - Existing level gauges may become unstable due to the influence of dust and steam ■ Product Introduced - Radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H7S' ■ Effects - Enabled monitoring of multiple bunker levels from the mobile tripper *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Corrosion Gas Countermeasure Measuring from the Outside of the Tank - Microwave Level Meter

For chemical tanks that generate corrosive gases, the level is measured from the outside of the resin tank!

We would like to introduce a case study of the radar-type microwave level gauge handled by Matsushima Majortech. In the chemical tank of a factory's wastewater treatment facility, there was a problem where the level gauge corroded due to the influence of chemicals (such as gases). To address this, we utilized the characteristics of microwaves that can penetrate materials with low dielectric constants, allowing the introduction of our product to measure from the outside of the tank. 【Case Study】 ■Issue - The level gauge corrodes due to the influence of chemicals ■Product Introduced - Radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H**' ■Effect - Measurement can now be conducted from the outside of the tank *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Radar-type Microwave Level Gauge for Wood Chip Chutes

Even if there is only a mounting location on the side wall, measurements can be taken! Customized with a mounting frame tailored to the equipment!!

We would like to introduce a case study of the radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H7S' handled by Matsushima Majortech. There was a problem where there was no installation space above the wood chip chute, making measurement impossible. We fulfilled the request to somehow conduct measurements inside the chute. By installing the level gauge on the side wall and mounting it so that the product faces vertically towards the raw material surface, stable measurements could now be taken from the side. 【Case Study】 ■Challenges - There was no installation space above the wood chip chute, making measurement impossible. ■Product Introduced - Radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H7S' ■Effects - Measurements can now be taken from the side.

[Case Study] Radar Microwave Level Gauge for Contamination Prevention in Food Factories

Monitor the remaining raw materials in the tank! Eliminate leftover cargo to avoid quality defects and quality incidents!

We would like to introduce a case study of the radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H series' handled by Matsushima Majatech. In food manufacturing, the mixing of fresh ingredients with old ones can lead to quality issues. The residual material in the hopper, which causes this problem, cannot be detected by the lower limit switch, so we decided to measure it using a microwave level gauge. 【Case Study】 ■Challenge To prevent contamination, we were visually checking the residual material in the hopper every time we replaced the ingredients. ■Product Introduced Radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H3S' ■Effect We were able to measure the residual material with the microwave level gauge, eliminating the need for visual confirmation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study Collection] Microwave Level Measurement for Factory and Plant Applications

Numerous examples of level measurement achieved in harsh environments such as high temperatures, foaming liquid surfaces, condensation, oil droplets, and corrosive gases are featured!

Level measurement is essential in factories and plants, but there are still many challenges in measuring levels under various harsh conditions. If these challenges are not resolved, it can lead to inaccurate measurements and equipment damage. Matsushima Majatech, as a manufacturer of level measurement devices, has addressed various measurement challenges, including those related to powders. This document is a collection of case studies summarizing examples of the implementation of radar microwave level gauges handled by Matsushima Majatech Co., Ltd. It includes examples such as the "Wood Chip Chute Implementation Case," which can measure even when there is only wall space available, as well as the "Chicken Manure Silo Implementation Case," which prevents adhesion and reduces cleaning work, and the "Mobile Tripper Implementation Case." Each case highlights key points and is introduced using photos and illustrations. [Featured Cases (Excerpt)] ■ Wood Chip Chute Implementation Case ■ Chicken Manure Silo Implementation Case ■ Mobile Tripper Implementation Case ■ Mining Plant Implementation Case ■ Beverage Plant Implementation Case *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] High-Temperature Equipment Radar Microwave Level Gauge for Sintering Coolers

Proven in the high-temperature environment of steel mills! Monitoring layer thickness for process control! For controlling input amounts and detecting blockages!!

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Radar Microwave Level Gauge" handled by Matsushima Majatech, which has been implemented in sintering equipment (sintering cooler). This product monitors the thickness of the sintered ore layer for process control and observes the levels before and after charging and discharging. It avoids heat sources with an L-shaped waveguide antenna and cools the antenna with purging. A heat shield prevents dust from entering the antenna, stabilizing measurement performance. Please use it for controlling input amounts and detecting blockages. 【Case Study】 ■ Installation Site - Sintering Equipment (Sintering Cooler) ■ Installed Product - "Radar Microwave Level Gauge"

[Case Study] Radar-type Microwave Level Meter for Liquid Level (Foam Countermeasures) Measurement

Even when a large amount of foam occurs during liquid level measurement in the tank, measurement can still be performed! Stable measurement is achieved using a guide pipe.

We would like to introduce a case study of the radar-type microwave level gauge handled by Matsushima Majatech. There was an issue of false detection due to the influence of bubbles when detecting the liquid level in a container. To address this, we installed a "guide pipe" and introduced the product. Even when bubbles occur at the liquid surface, they do not enter the pipe, allowing for measurement of only the liquid level. [Case Study] ■Challenge - False detection occurs due to the influence of bubbles when detecting the liquid level in a container. ■Introduced Product - Radar-type microwave level gauge 'MWLM-PR26H2F' + "Guide Pipe" ■Effect - Even when bubbles occur at the liquid surface, they do not enter the pipe, allowing for measurement of only the liquid level. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
